 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

RIF participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the annual fundraising drive conducted by all federal employees and military personnel. Through the CFC, federal employees and retirees and military personnel can donate a designated dollar amount to their favorite organizations with payroll deductions. The annual campaign takes place in the fall and, payments on payroll deduction pledges begin on the first pay period in January.
 RIF participates in the CFC through Children First America’s Charities, a workplace giving federation.
To make a donation through this campaign, please contact your Human Resources Department or the Office of Personnel Management.

Starting Your Own Workplace Giving Program
RIF can work with your corporation to start an employee giving campaign at your workplace. Through an employee giving campaign, you can give your employees the opportunity to provide books to children who need them most. We can develop a campaign to include the following features:
- Integration with your company’s employee involvement program;
- Branding to fit your company’s unique culture, focusing on your employees’ charitable and volunteer interests;
- Opportunities for employee involvement and team building;
- Extending existing cause-marketing customer-based programs to your employees
- Linking employee gifts directly to RIF programs based on geographic presence; and
- Promoting loyalty and goodwill between your company and your employees.

United Way
If you participate in a United Way giving campaign that allows donor designations, you can select RIF as your beneficiary. If RIF is not listed as a member agency, please contact the campaign coordinator to write in RIF to be considered for your gift.
